First trailer for horror romance Jack And Diane
Indie horror romance Jack And Diane has released a first trailer, in which Juno Temple and Riley Keough attempt to get to grips with the sublime agony of first love, as well as some rather alarming physical changes…

A friend told me that Ellen Page was supposed to play Diane initially but dropped out…as much as it would’ve been cool to see Ellen here I’m just as glad to see JUNO TEMPLE

It’s a beauuuuutiful poster!

Jodie Foster at her first San Diego Comic-Con for Elysium, July 13th
Did you ever see Ridley Scott’s Silence sequel, Hannibal? Or would that have been just too strange?Oh no, I’ve seen them all!
Really? You saw the remake of Red Dragon, too?Yeah, yeah!
What was your take on those films?I mean, I don’t really have an opinion on them, and certainly not for print, but they’re [based on] great books. What I think is interesting is all the other movies that got made subsequent to that that didn’t recognize what was great about Silence, you know? What was great about it was the point of view of this scared, small person who had been traumatized as a child. It wasn’t about blood or gore or “Isn’t this terrible, all of these terrible things?” There was a real goodness to that movie, and that’s what a lot of those other movies didn’t get.

THANKS FOR LENDING US UR VIEW ON THE HANNIBAL MOVIES THERE, JODIE.  Oh, and she also said that she’s seen every episode of True Blood.  STOP IT!  I CAN’T LOVE YOU ANY HARDER THAN I ALREADY DO!

Almost Famous - Tiny Dancer bit

I don’t know why people don’t mention Water Lilies more when they talk about les movies. It’s different from the rest that I’ve seen because it’s so raw about the adolescent-sexuality idea and my favorite bit about the movie wasn’t Marie and Floraine’s relationship but the side story of Marie’s best friend and the guy François. If you’ve seen it you’ll know what I mean because that really affected the mood of the film.
